Elim Chew's 50 Birthday Cake

We recently had the honour of making Elim Chew's 50th birthday cake! This cake was designed by her friend Angela and her team who wanted to incorporate her love of family, fishing and finally the launch of her biography, The Elim Chew Story: Driven by Purpose, Destined for Change into the design. 

The cake featured handcut and individually painted fondant sea life elements. We love how this cake came to life from the cake sketch and we are really happy to hear Elim thought the cake looked great!

Great White Shark Cake

This cake was one of the highlights of our week! The great white shark, sea life elements and sign were all made from fondant. The client requested for the shark to dive from the water and we love how this idea turned out. Read more to see a full shot of the cake!

Pool party themed Powerpuff girls cake

We are absolutely in love with this pool party themed Powerpuff girls cake! Measuring about 15" in height, this double barrel cake was massive! All the details, including Siena's name, the Powerpuff girls and Professor X were handcut from fondant! 

My Little Pony (Rarity) Cake

This beauty was based on a similar design we did for another 21st birthday a few months back and we absolutely love how the purple ombre buttercream matches Rarity's mane. These were 6" and 8" chocolate baileys and red velvet tiers respectively- our definite favourites. Read more for more pictures of our fondant Rarity topper!

This was 4 layers of delectable earl grey sponge with vanilla buttercream, topped with a handcrafted sugar Peony and cherry blossoms with hand painted gold details.

Elegant and cute, this hello kitty cake would be perfect for the ultimate fan! The hello kitty topper, roses and bow were all handcrafted from fondant and we love how the different elements turned out! Happy caking everyone!

Carousel Cake

This carousel cake was truly fit for a princess! The client requested pastel colours and wanted to showcase her favourite cartoon characters in the cake design. The 4 characters were hand cut from fondant and were carrying paper flags with the birthday girl's name on it.

These Stars Wars cupcakes are perfect for the ultimate Star Wars Fan! Not only do they look amazing, the flavour combination of vanilla sponge with chocolate and speculoos buttercream is out of this world delicious! All details were hand cut out from fondant and are 100% edible!
